The Good Housing = Health Program aims to take advantage of and promote existing housing resources to improve real estate stability and overall health results throughout Michigan. Program Goals:

Increasing real estate access: The program will improve real estate gain access to for qualified households, especially those that have actually been disproportionately affected by COVID-19. Multi-sector Collaboration

As part of the overarching SDOH Strategy, multisector collaboration is important to supporting community-led efforts. By partnering with MSHDA, the MDHHS Policy and Planning Office has actually established the Good Housing = Health Program to increase and promote housing stabilization resources and services throughout the state. Funding has actually been provided to local health partners to hire and maintain community health workers (also understood as navigators) who will proactively seek chances to connect Michigan homeowners to housing resources and services.
